Nestled in the picturesque town of Ross, CA, our latest interior design project presented an exciting challenge: an extensive remodel with a focus on transforming the heart of the home—the kitchen. Our client's main goal was to open up the space, improve work flow within the kitchen itself as well as the flow with other adjacent areas. So we went to work with exactly that in mind. Our interior design firm set out to craft a space that not only met the functional needs of their family but also served as a gathering place that invites to entertain and radiates hospitality.
With meticulous planning and a keen eye for detail, we focused on a kitchen design that is open and inviting, emphasizes family cooking, entertaining, the connection to the outdoor living spaces, all while providing lots of storage. Often side-stepped in the design process, guest bathrooms typically don't receive the same level of attention as other spaces within a home. However, this project was going to be different. Our interior design studio wanted to elevate the guest bathroom to a focal point of design ingenuity and thoughtful consideration.
We approached this bathroom with the intention to "wow" and cater to the comfort of guests, transforming it into a space of elegance and relaxation. Every detail, from the selection of materials, such as plaster, marble, and terracotta, to the lighting design, was meticulously curated to ensure that this often-understated area would stand out, offering visitors a unique and memorable experience. This approach underscores our belief that every corner of a home, no matter how traditionally overlooked, holds the potential for extraordinary design.

The Kids' bathroom was purposefully designed in a more modern appeal.
We always welcome the opportunity to design a kids' bathroom. It allows us to marry functionality with a touch of whimsy to the interior design concept that may not be desired in other area of the home. Our approach was to create a space that is playful yet would appeal to the aesthetic sensibilities as the kids grow. To achieve this, we selected a palette of vibrant colors and whimsical patterns (see those gorgeous terracotta floor tile). The result is a contrast heavy, light-filled bathroom that is both cheerful and practical.
